Quick Answer: The best pickleball bag for women is the JOOLA Everyday Tote ($79.95): it has a paddle pocket, a ventilated shoe compartment, a ball sleeve, a fence hook and a laptop sleeve, and at 21.3 inches long (per its Amazon listing) it clears any legal paddle. The best value is the KAVIGOR Quilted Pickleball Tote ($42.99, three padded paddle slots, dual fence hooks), and the best backpack is the Oaboia Pickleball Backpack ($49.99, four paddles). Before you buy a tote for its looks, check two things on the spec list: a fence hook, and a length longer than your paddle.

More than four in ten pickleball players are now women. The Sports & Fitness Industry Association’s 2026 Pickleball Single Sport Report puts women at 42.9% of US players in 2025, up from 38.6% in 2020, out of 24.3 million total players, which works out to roughly 10.4 million women. That is why “pickleball bag for women” is now its own aisle on Amazon, full of quilted puffer totes, canvas prints and pink backpacks. Some of them are excellent court bags. Others are handbags with a paddle-shaped pocket that is shorter than the paddle.

We compared more than 20 bags sold as women’s pickleball bags on their makers’ own spec sheets and on Amazon’s listings, and checked every price on October 30, 2026. We scored them on four things that matter on a court: whether your paddle actually fits, a fence hook to keep the bag off wet ground, a separate shoe compartment, and price. If you are not set on a women’s style, our main best pickleball bag guide covers tour bags and unisex backpacks.

1. JOOLA Everyday Tote — Best Overall

JOOLA Everyday Tote Bag

Best overall · $79.95
  • Slip-in paddle pocket, ball sleeve and side bottle holder, per JOOLA's Amazon listing.
  • Ventilated bottom shoe compartment that also isolates sweaty clothes from your laptop.
  • Fence hook, soft-lined valuables pockets and a padded laptop sleeve.
  • Amazon lists it at 21.3 inches long and about 1.4 lb; black, white or latte; $79.95 on joola.com and Amazon.

The JOOLA Everyday Tote is the only bag in this guide that ticks every box on our court checklist and still looks like a tote you would carry into an office. The paddle sits in its own slip-in pocket, a ventilated compartment at the bottom swallows court shoes and a damp shirt, and there is a fence hook, a sleeve for balls and a padded laptop sleeve. JOOLA is the paddle sponsor of Ben Johns, and the bag reads like it was designed by people who actually play: the shoe compartment is the feature most women’s totes skip, and it is the one that keeps grit and smell off everything else. Its 21.3-inch listed length means a 16.5-inch elongated paddle goes in without the handle sticking out. The trade-offs: the paddle pocket is a slip pocket rather than a padded, zipped sleeve, so a raw-carbon face benefits from a paddle cover, and at $79.95 it costs nearly twice the KAVIGOR below. JOOLA also sells a matching Everyday Backpack ($79.95, two paddles) and Everyday Sling ($44.95) if you prefer the same look in another format.

2. KAVIGOR Quilted Pickleball Tote — Best Value

KAVIGOR Pickleball Tote Bag for Women (Quilted)

Best value · $42.99
  • Padded compartment for 3 paddles, plus a main compartment KAVIGOR says fits 2 to 4 more, shoes or a 15.6-inch laptop.
  • Ventilated shoe compartment with waterproof lining and a separate waterproof pocket for wet items.
  • Dual fence hooks; adjustable side pockets for 30 oz bottles; 1.7 lb.
  • KAVIGOR offers 2 years of free repairs via Amazon messages; it does not publish the bag's dimensions.
Check price on Amazon →

If you want the quilted-tote look without paying designer prices, the KAVIGOR is the one to buy. On paper it out-features totes that cost three times as much: three padded paddle slots, a ventilated shoe compartment with a waterproof lining, a waterproof pocket for sunscreen or a wet towel, and two fence hooks instead of one. At 1.7 lb it is light for a bag this size, and the 2-year free-repair promise is unusual for a sub-$50 Amazon brand. The catch is that KAVIGOR publishes no dimensions on its listing. It says the main compartment fits a 15.6-inch laptop, which suggests plenty of length for a standard paddle, but if you play an elongated paddle, measure against the bag on arrival and keep the box until you have. It is a newer brand with a shorter track record than JOOLA, which is the main reason it sits second rather than first.

3. Oaboia Pickleball Backpack for Women — Best Backpack

Oaboia Pickleball Backpack for Women

Best backpack · $49.99
  • Paddle compartments for up to 4 paddles and a separate 15.6-inch laptop compartment.
  • Ventilated shoe compartment for shoes up to size 11, plus a waterproof PVC wet pocket.
  • 18.9 x 12.2 x 6.7 inches; two mesh pockets for up to 10 balls; side pocket for a 40 oz tumbler.
  • Hidden fence hook that tucks away, key leash and an adjustable chest strap.
Check price on Amazon →

A backpack is the better choice if you walk or bike to the courts, or if you go straight from work and carry a laptop. The Oaboia is built around a woman’s frame, with a chest strap and padded back panel, and it carries a full kit: four paddles, shoes up to a women’s size 11 in their own ventilated compartment, ten balls in two mesh pockets and a 40 oz tumbler in the side pocket. At 18.9 inches tall it has room for any legal paddle, elongated shapes included. It is a new listing in 2026, so there is no long-term durability record yet; if you want a backpack from a paddle brand instead, our best pickleball backpack guide ranks the CRBN, Selkirk, Vatic Pro and JOOLA packs.

4. CRBN Club Pickleball Tote — Best Luxury Tote

CRBN Club Pickleball Tote Bag

Best luxury tote · $109.99
  • Structured Italian PU leather body, YKK zippers and microsuede lining, per CRBN.
  • Padded, insulated sleeve for a paddle or a laptop, which CRBN says protects composite paddle faces from heat.
  • Branded wire-gate carabiner for the fence, key leash, magnetic exterior pouches and a trolley sleeve.
  • 15.5 inches wide at the base, 21 inches across the top, 13 inches tall; metal base studs.
Check price on Amazon →

If you are going to spend over $100 on a pickleball tote, spend it here rather than on a print. CRBN is a paddle brand, and its Club Tote is the only premium tote we found that keeps the court features: a fence carabiner, metal feet so the base never sits on a wet court, and an insulated paddle sleeve. That sleeve matters more than it sounds. Heat is the main enemy of a composite paddle, because a hot car can soften the resin that bonds the face to the core (our paddle care guide explains the temperatures involved), and CRBN builds insulation into the sleeve for exactly that reason. The compromises are one paddle sleeve (shared with your laptop) and no shoe compartment, so this is a bag for players who change shoes in the car. It is $109.99 on both crbnpickleball.com and Amazon.

5. Ame & Lulu Pickleball Tote — Best Designer Print

Ame & Lulu Pickleball Tote (Quilted Puffer)

Best designer print · $114
  • Padded nylon puffer body; exterior paddle pocket that fits two paddles.
  • Front zip pocket, interior zip pocket, two slip pockets and two interior water bottle pockets.
  • 17.5 x 4.75 x 12.5 inches, 8.5-inch handle drop, removable adjustable shoulder strap.
  • No fence hook or shoe compartment in Ame & Lulu's spec list.
Check price on Amazon →

Ame & Lulu is the brand most people mean when they search for a cute or designer pickleball bag, and its bags are well made, with nylon liners, plenty of interior pockets and real paddle pockets. Of its five pickleball bags, the Pickleball Tote is the one to buy: at 17.5 inches long it clears even a 16.5-inch elongated paddle, and the padded puffer body gives the paddles some protection. Just know what you are paying for. None of Ame & Lulu’s pickleball spec lists mention a fence hook or a shoe compartment, so this is a beautiful bag to carry to the court and a less practical one once you are there. Prices differ by store and colorway, so check both before you buy:

Ame & Lulu bagSize (L x W x H)ameandlulu.comAmazon

Court to Coast Pickleball Tote (canvas)15 x 6 x 13 in$104Not found

Prices checked on October 30, 2026. The Hamptons gap is the big one: the same bag in a different colorway was $66 cheaper on Ame & Lulu’s own site than on Amazon.

6. Movker 2-in-1 Pickleball Tote — Best Tote-to-Crossbody

Movker Pickleball Bag for Women (Tote + Crossbody)

Best convertible · $27.06–$39.99 depending on color
  • Dedicated paddle pocket for 2 paddles and a detachable ball pouch for 3 balls.
  • Adjustable strap converts the hand-carry tote to a hands-free crossbody.
  • Fence hook and a padded paddle compartment; 1.47 lb.
  • 15.75 x 12.99 x 2.76 inches per Movker's listing, so it is slim but short.
Check price on Amazon →

The Movker is a slim tote that turns into a crossbody, which makes it the easiest bag here to carry from the court to lunch without looking like you came from the gym. It has a fence hook, a padded pocket for two paddles and a clip-off pouch for three balls. The weak spot is length. At 15.75 inches, it is the same length as a standard paddle and shorter than an elongated one, so expect the handle to ride above the pocket if you play a 16.5-inch shape. Price depends on color: on October 30 we saw the same bag at $27.06, $28.49, $37.99 and $39.99 across colorways, so pick the color last.

7. Athletico Sling Bag — Best Sling

Athletico Sling Bag (Crossbody Backpack)

Best sling · $29.99 pink / $39.99 black
  • Main compartment holds up to 6 pickleball paddles or a 15-inch laptop, per Athletico.
  • Five pockets, an external bottle holder with cord lock and a hidden anti-theft back pocket.
  • Padded strap flips between left and right shoulders.
  • Listed at 20 x 14 x 6 inches; no fence hook in Athletico's feature list.
Check price on Amazon →

A sling is the right bag for a quick rec session: one strap, nothing bouncing on both shoulders, and your phone in a pocket you can reach without taking the bag off. The Athletico is also our sling pick in the unisex pickleball bag guide, and it earns a place here because it is the roomiest sling we found, at 20 inches tall with space for up to six paddles. The reversible strap is a small detail that matters if you prefer to carry on your left shoulder. Two things to know: Athletico does not list a fence hook, so it sits on the bench or the ground, and the pink version was $10 cheaper than the black one when we checked. If you want a sling from a paddle brand, Selkirk’s Core Line Sling ($40) and JOOLA’s Everyday Sling ($44.95) are the alternatives.

8. Boulder Bee Pickleball Tote — Best Budget

Boulder Bee Pickleball Tote Bag for Women

Best budget · $26.09 ($30.99 list)
  • Dedicated holder for 2 paddles and two side pockets for water bottles.
  • 600D oxford nylon outside, 210D nylon lining; 0.7 lb with a 33 lb maximum load, per Boulder Bee.
  • 15.8 x 5.6 x 12.6 inches; straps fasten together for hand carry.
  • Vintage floral prints in several designs; no fence hook or shoe compartment listed.
Check price on Amazon →

The Boulder Bee is the bag to buy for a new player, or as a gift when you are not sure how serious the recipient is. At 0.7 lb it is the lightest bag here, it holds two paddles, balls, a towel and two water bottles, and the floral prints give you the designer look for about a quarter of the price of an Ame & Lulu. Like the Movker, it is 15.8 inches long, so a standard paddle fits and an elongated one pokes out. For more gift ideas at this price, see our best pickleball gifts guide.

Will your paddle fit? Bag length vs. paddle length

This is the check most “pickleball bag for women” listings skip. Paddle lengths below are typical figures; USA Pickleball allows up to 17 inches. Bag sizes are the outside dimensions the makers list, so the pocket itself is a little smaller.

A handle riding above an open paddle pocket is a deliberate design on some totes and is fine for a rec paddle. It does leave the grip exposed to rain and the face edge exposed to the fence, so pair those bags with a paddle cover. If you play an elongated paddle, stick to the top five rows.

What about lululemon?

lululemon is one of the most-searched names in this category, but its pickleball range is mostly apparel. lululemon’s online store did not load for our October 30 price check, so we could not confirm its current bag lineup or prices, and we have not ranked it. The bag that usually comes up is a racket bag: a June 2026 comparison by bag maker FORWRD listed lululemon’s 19-liter Racket Bag at $188, down from $195. If that is still the price, it costs more than every bag in our top eight. If you buy one anyway, run the same three checks: a length longer than your paddle, a fence hook, and somewhere to keep shoes apart from the paddle.

How to choose a pickleball bag for women

The bottom line

The JOOLA Everyday Tote ($79.95) is the best pickleball bag for most women: a real tote with a paddle pocket, a ventilated shoe compartment, a fence hook and enough length for any legal paddle. The KAVIGOR Quilted Tote ($42.99) delivers the same court features for about half the money, and the Oaboia Backpack ($49.99) is the pick if you would rather carry it on your back. Buy the CRBN Club Tote if you want leather and still need a fence clip, and an Ame & Lulu bag if the print is the point, as long as you choose one that is longer than your paddle. Then fill it: our best pickleball paddle for women guide, a pickleball towel and our pickleball shirts guide cover the rest of the kit.
